We only ask for the data we need to drive you, and we treat it with care. This statement explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

01Who is responsible

02What we collect
When you request a ride, we ask for:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the pickup and destination addresses, date and time;
- details of your trip: number of passengers, luggage, vehicle, pets, flight number and your note to the driver.
When you call, WhatsApp or email us, we also receive your phone number or email address and what you send us.
03Why we use it
- To answer your request, send you a quote and carry out your ride (to perform our agreement with you).
- To contact you about your ride, for example when your flight is delayed (to perform our agreement with you).
- To invoice and keep our accounts (a legal obligation).
We don't use your data for advertising and we never sell it.
04Who receives it
Only the people at Bmine Taxi who handle your ride, including your driver, see your data. We use a few service providers to run our website and email; they process data only on our instructions. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
05Address suggestions and location
When you type an address, the text you type is sent to Photon (komoot, Germany), a service based on OpenStreetMap, to suggest matching addresses. If you tap “Use my location”, your browser first asks for your permission; your location is then used to look up your address in the same way and is sent along with your request.
07How long we keep it
We keep requests that don't lead to a ride for at most one year. Data about rides we have carried out, including invoices, is kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
08Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Send your request to info@bminetaxi.be; we answer within one month.
Do you think we're not handling your data correctly? You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.
09Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Our website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
10Changes
We may update this statement. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
